A University Workshop on Hurricane related issues and how to collaborate and coordinate the efforts at various Universities along the Gulf Coast region was held on August 7, 2008 at the University of Houston. Representatives from Texas A & M – Kingsville, Lamar University, Texas Southern University and University of Houston participated in the workshop.
