The Dynamics and Controls Committee of Aerospace Division of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is organizing a symposium on “Intelligent Sensors and Actuators” at the “Earth and Space 2008” conference. Abstracts are due September 17 (Extended Deadline Sept. 24th 2007), 2007 and Session Proposals are due September 14, 2007 (Extended Deadline Sept. 21th 2007). The draft full length papers are due January 20, 2008 and final papers are due at the conference.

 

Procedures to submit the abstracts:

  1. Visit http://www.cconnect.org/ to submit the abstract. Proceed to create a new online account. Once you input your information, a pass code will be sent to your email account.
  2. You could then login with your email address and pass code.
  3. Select “Earth & Space 2008”. Continue.
  4. You will then follow the procedures to submit the abstract.  Please select the track “Intelligent Sensors and Actuators Symposium”.
  5. The conference website is http://content.asce.org/conferences/earth2008/call.html
  6. Please also email your abstracts and session proposals to Symposium Chair: Dr. G. Song at gsong@uh.edu

Best Paper Awards and Best Student Paper Awards:

With donation from TREK, Inc. and dSPACE, Inc., the Symposium will have four classes of Best Paper Awards.

Please email your nomination to Dr. Song at gsong@uh.edu. The nomination will then be review by the Award Committee, which consists of:

 

All the papers to be included in the proceedings will be peer-reviewed by the Dynamics and Controls Committee, and they will be deposited in the Engineering Index (EI) database.
