Undergraduate Student Research

Dr. Song hosts motivated undergraduate students for participation in research under several programs, including:

• NSF-REU
  This fellowship provides a grant through the National Science Foundation for selected undergraduate students to pursue research alongside a faculty member from either the Civil & Environmental or the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Houston.

• SURF-UH
  This Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at the University of Houston "seeks to provide funding for rising UH sophomores, juniors and seniors to participate in a focused, full-time, 10-week research experience under the direction of UH faculty." Dr. Song sponsors research-oriented, self-motivated students for positions in this fellowship.
